Brainstorm Blog 2

Now that I have played around with Adobe Audition during the Pop Quiz, I am super excited to see what I can create. As of now, I think that I want to take sounds from my everyday life and turn them into a composition that could be placed in the soundtrack of a horror movie. I want it to sound shocking and frightening, making the listener feel uneasy. I will layer lots of effects and make certain points very loud. I am also considering taking a lighter approach and focusing on the beauty of the little moments in life. If I go in this direction, I will choose soft noises from the class folder and highlight them with delicate effects. For this, I am planning on using the audios of the baby crying, water pouring, leaves rustling, etc. I will start working on both compositions and see which one is more successful!
